It
seems obvious to us, but we will be with you for the whole day.
Lets consider a 'normal
wedding day'. Church and venue, not too far apart, ceremony starting
at 2pm.
We arrive at the Brides
house at around 10am. That gives us time to get to know everyone
better. Often the Bride is out having her hair done. When she comes
home we will stick to her like glue.
If you are having a make-up
artist, this something that you'll love to remember. So we'll take
several shots of you and the brides maids getting ready.
We photograph the final
preparation before the bridesmaids leave and take the last shots
of the bride with her parents.
The Bridesmaids and Mother
of the Bride leaves and eventually it time for the Bride and her
Father to leave. We take this shot, then leave before them. That
way, I can get them arriving at the ceremony.
After all the excitement
of the ceremony and the wedding breakfast we will take some shots
of the speeches, although a video catches that better, even an amateur
one.
We normally stay until
the early evening. During that time we will have made a small slide
show of all the shots so that you and the guests can gather round
one of the monitors and enjoy the whole thing again.
Generally we get away
by about 8pm, so by the time that we are clear its virtually a 12
hour day!
These are
some of the shots from the slide show at two of our weddings. You
can see why we like to get to the Brides house early.
